[edit]The current images should be improved. The very reddish fungus in the taxobox image may not be an Aleuria. Nemetona 14:36, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
Yes, the fungus pictured is not orange peel fungus, it is the related red elf cap fungus. The picture in the lower left is orange peel fungus, but the picture is not clear. --Nefabit 21:28, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
Hi again . . . I uploaded the new txbox picture with permission from the copyright holder . . .but now the box is too big! Can anyone help me with that? Do I need to reload a smaller image? Thank you! --Nefabit 10:09, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
"smended"?
[edit]The section "Description" reads "The orange peel fungus has no smended, because it may be confused ..."
What does "smended" mean? I'm not a native speaker, but cannot find it in any dictionary either.
As the section talks about the danger of confusing the fungus with more dangerous ones it should be as clear as possible... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.171.172.244 (talk) 20:47, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
Image accuracy question
[edit]I'm no mycologist. Is this File:Aleuria aurantia (fungus).jpg added March 2013, actually Aleuria aurantia , or is it (as I would identify it) Sarcoscypha coccinea instead? Andy Dingley (talk) 12:53, 4 March 2014 (UTC)
