Family
[edit]What is Family??????? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.22.45.214 (talk) 10:28, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
- I'm assuming the question is: who is in his family? On his website it states he is married to Ingmar Zeisberg. I think he has children, but that's not information that's available online. -Llehsadam (talk) 10:25, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
Father
[edit]Is it really necessary to include so much information on the father? He is son of the architect and Nazi Party official Albert Speer, who was a member of Adolf Hitler's inner circle and the Third Reich's Chief Architect. Aar ► 02:06, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
I think, as he is the son of the infamous Albert Speer, and he didn't even bother to change his name, this guy's relation to Nazi Germany has an important place in his wikipedia entry. --85.178.90.160 (talk) 21:53, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
- Are you Fwitened of a big bad name?
- Guess you have a problem with people in Zimbabwe being called Robert or or people on Iraq having the surname Hussein. Save your western centric faux outrage for twitter you fool. 2A00:23EE:10C0:179B:AE0A:8043:35D7:F28D (talk) 01:24, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
Any background information available?
[edit]It might be helpful to have some background information about the subject’s life during the war and his post-war education. Considering who his father was I assume the then boy was a member of the Jungvolk. Some information about his activates as such (assuming he was a member) might be helpful along with his post-war education. Can anyone provide the requested information? Thanks.HistoryBuff14 (talk) 20:23, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
- He was born July 1934, so reached the age of 10 about the time the War was over. --ELEKHHT 00:12, 20 February 2014 (UTC)
- He was too young. However, since the Speer family was the closest thing Hitler had to family, Albert Speer, Jr. was very close to Hitler. There is film footage of the little Speer close to Hitler. I don't know how that influenced him, but in the documentary it is said "Speer's kids were closer to Hitler than their own father." I found that interesting. Albert Speer, Jr. was the closest thing Hitler had to a son. I guess a section could be made for that in this article, but most of the references would come from material in German.-Llehsadam (talk) 09:47, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
- I found two interviews in German in which Speer mentions his closeness to Hitler among other things. http://www.sueddeutsche.de/kultur/im-gespraech-albert-speer-jr-hitler-war-fuer-uns-ein-netter-onkel-1.932588 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1QcJYcvTt4#t=672 -Llehsadam (talk) 10:13, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
