There is confusion here. Some of the people listed as receiving the Albert Schweitzer Prize for Humanitarianism may have actually received the "Albert Schweitzer Humanitarianism Award" which is from a different organization(s). In particular Pres. Carter receieved one from Quinnipac Univeristy and Burreson's is unclear.Jan Kirb 18:24, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
I've straightened this out as much as possible without actually contacting the parties. In same year, 1987, that Carter received this award, the Dalai Lama recieved a similar named award "Albert Schweitzer Humanitarian Award" from the Human Behavior Foundation. Dalai Lama never received the "Albert Schweitzer Prize for Humanitarianism" as far as I can tell. There were simialr issues with others. I'm new to Wikipedia, so bear with me.
