Free agent

Technically, Pujols is not a free agent yet. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 19:33, 6 May 2021 (UTC)

This is correct. – Muboshgu (talk) 19:55, 6 May 2021 (UTC)

Might want to put an edit lock on for a little bit until everything is confirmed Spongehog (talk) 21:04, 15 May 2021 (UTC)

Someone screw up

So there was a major edit fail that collapsed a part of the article from working properly. Needs immediate attention Spongehog (talk) 21:25, 15 May 2021 (UTC)

I managed to fix the issue. It was a major format error that someone made Spongehog (talk) 21:27, 15 May 2021 (UTC)

I had edited to this that Albert Pujols was now signed to the Los Angeles Dodgers (which has been confirmed) since then has been erased and page protected. I would like to add that Pujols is in fact a Dodger now. Thanks 2600:6C5D:4700:A1F:7523:298E:A96E:95F6 (talk) 12:42, 16 May 2021 (UTC)

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Run n Fly (talk) 13:54, 16 May 2021 (UTC)

"Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim"

Is there a ref for the mention that the team "changed" names from "Angels of Anaheim" to Angels in 2015? I remember having this discussion on the Angels article and it was hard to determine if and when this occurred.

I would recommend just using "Angels" throughout and not mentioning the confusing name change. Natg 19 (talk) 19:31, 17 May 2021 (UTC)

Edits

Just made a series of edits. There was some text that was unsourced and I removed. Also, there were some obscure statistics (running speed, etc.) that were only sourced to baseball statistics-related websites and were not sourced to anything else that would indicate that they were significant enough to warrant inclusion in the article. I took them out as well. 74.67.6.88 (talk) 01:02, 14 October 2021 (UTC)

Team update

Pujols is literally walking around MLB’s spring training complex in a Cardinals uniform and is in their dugout, multiple sources have confirmed the deal at this point and yet this page has had its edits to Pujol’s status reverted multiple times. Tylergreatwhite (talk) 17:46, 28 March 2022 (UTC)

He has to take a physical before the deal is finalized and he is officially on the team.. what is the hurry? Spanneraol (talk) 17:57, 28 March 2022 (UTC)

Need to explain and add contect why he was intentionally walked 55 times his senior year of high school. He was walked intentionally y55 of his 83 plate appearances in protest of his alleged age. Reference this article:

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 01:25, 31 March 2022 (UTC)

On the right hand "teams" column, please St. Louis Cardinals 2022 - as he is now DH for the Cardinals which is noted in the text, but not in the right hand column for his teams. He starts the opening day game today. Jamesaddison214 (talk) 14:23, 7 April 2022 (UTC)

I think you are referring to the infobox, and St. Louis Cardinals 2022 show there now. RudolfRed (talk) 20:22, 8 April 2022 (UTC)

Split?

The size of this article suggests it should be split in two. 2603:7000:2143:8500:655F:127C:AAB4:6837 (talk) 22:23, 18 July 2022 (UTC)

No, it doesn't. WP:SIZESPLIT refers to "readable prose" size. The article presently has 48,779 characters (8,595 words) of "readable prose". – Muboshgu (talk) 22:42, 18 July 2022 (UTC)
