[edit]How do you pronounce that guy's name ?
sh-lag-ter
- no no, shla ge ter
Shla-gay-tare I believe is be how it should be pronounced in German. (David Schlageter)
the way my family says it is shla-guh-ter (my last name is spelled Schlagetter i guess we added a t to shun this guy from my family.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.141.128.241 (talk) 02:05, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
Shluh-gettare. Second part similar to Federer as in Roger. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.177.138.133 (talk) 20:24, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
I'd suggest Shla-gettare. But actually the German "a" is pronounced quite like the English letter "r", so it's difficult to describe in English. 89.247.99.99 (talk) 12:03, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
