English translations
Dummelaksen, the Wikipedia pages for Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 through 2018 provide English translations for the song titles. 2019's page is somewhat odd in that it does not fit precedent, but it also doesn't fit precedent in a few other ways. In addition, other X in the Eurovision Song Contest 20?? pages provide English translations for the song titles in a national final. Why should Albania 2020 be any different? - Also: There is a strong possibility that I should have brought this up with you on your talk page or somewhere that isn't here, sorry if I've completely messed up protocol. First talk page usage here. Toffeenix (talk) 08:18, 27 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Toffeenix: No worries. I removed "English translation" because WikiProject Eurovision did reach a consensus to not translate the song titles here, and consistency is key. I personally think the translations should be removed from all X in the Eurovision Song Contest 20?? articles, but there's so many of them and I have bigger fish to fry usually. I removed this one before the others as 2020 is the current contest and it was just a matter of removing a couple words instead of an entire column. dummelaksen (talk) 08:24, 27 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Dummelaksen: Wow, I'm surprised that the Wikiproject would reach that consensus, but that's the decision I guess. Thanks for helping out. :) Toffeenix (talk) 08:38, 27 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Toffeenix: No problem, thank you too! dummelaksen (talk) 08:51, 27 October 2019 (UTC)
- LWL12345, I assume you disagree? Just trying to reach consensus. Toffeenix (talk) 13:43, 28 October 2019 (UTC)
- Not at all, you can remove the translations in the Albanian page ^^ LWL12345 (talk) 14:23, 28 October 2019 (UTC)

Promotion section
The "Before Eurovision" section is the typical location for promotion. Where do you propose relocating it to? Grk1011 (talk) 15:56, 24 April 2020 (UTC)
- Personally, I think the "Promotion" section is not necessary in this article; its enough to place it in the respective song's article .. We should invest our energy and focus on other Eurovision related articles instead of this small topic.--Lorik17 (talk) 00:06, 25 April 2020 (UTC)
- In the past it has been somewhat important as it is directly related to the country's participation. We also typically included an "After Eurovision" section with a summary of reception, charts, etc. Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 was done yearsssss ago and needs some cleanup, but it shows how we've historically laid out the articles over the last decade. We should be roughly following the WikiProject guides unless there is broad support to update them. Grk1011 (talk) 22:01, 25 April 2020 (UTC)
