Alana Simon → Alana (singer) – I have never heard her referenced as Alana Simon with her last name being said. As per WP:COMMONNAME, I request this move. 68.44.51.49 (talk) 16:09, 28 November 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose - The singer is not widely mentioned by sources except blogs, like this article, this blog, that article(?), that blog. The singer has very little notability left. I am afraid that the title is no longer the only issue. If notability is the main issue, then I'm afraid we must establish hers or merge the article into Marc Kinchen, which I proposed. Per WP:TITLECHANGES policy, "If an article title has been stable for a long time, and there is no good reason to change it, it should not be changed." Well, I see you have good reasons to change the article to "Alana (singer)", but it implies that "(singer)" is better than "Simon". However, she also must meet WP:notability guideline. If it is changed to "Alana (singer)", this would affect the stability of the title. Well, neither title makes her more notable than she is. --George Ho (talk) 18:57, 28 November 2014 (UTC)
- Mostly neutral, but remember that WP:NATURAL exists. Red Slash 01:13, 5 December 2014 (UTC)
