Fair use rationale for Image:Aladdinspec-ed.jpg

[edit]

Image:Aladdinspec-ed.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 19:14, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Disney's Aladdin sountrack cover.jpg

[edit]

Image:Disney's Aladdin sountrack cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Should there be a "Critical Reception" section?

[edit]

Some specific tracks from this album with Wiki pages have a "Critical Reception" section. Should there be a similar section for the album as a whole? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.251.145.104 (talk) 10:22, 1 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Track Listing

[edit]

Shouldn't it say specifically which lyricist wrote which song? Brian K. Tyler (talk) 09:13, 19 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Because Tim Rice had to take over after Howard Ashman passed away. Brian K. Tyler (talk) 02:02, 24 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Name change

[edit]

Since the soundtrack of the 2019 live-action remake has been released, I think this page’s title should have 1992 added to it. Brian K. Tyler (talk) 05:55, 24 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Lyrics column in table

[edit]

The two credited lyricists were not a team and didn't jointly write the lyrics for the songs. A column was added to identify which lyricist was responsible for each song as otherwise the credit would be incomplete. This may or not be needed in other soundtrack albums when there is a single lyricist but seems reasonable to do in this article. Geraldo Perez (talk) 20:40, 1 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
