Date of birth
[edit]The article gives Rubinstein's date of birth as 1 Dec 1880, with a footnote saying "According to Donaldson and Mirev, he was born on 12 October 1882." Is there a source for the 1 Dec 1880 date? If not, I think the date should be changed to 12 October 1882. Strawberry4Ever (talk) 01:22, 2 December 2022 (UTC)
- I've added a "Citation needed" for 1 December 1880. The sources I've checked all say Rubinstein was born on 12 December 1882. I don't have Donaldson and Mirev's book, so I don't what page number to cite if we go with 12 October 1882. Strawberry4Ever (talk) 21:08, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
Hiding in a corner
[edit]"In one period, after making a chess move he would go and hide in the corner of the tournament hall while awaiting his opponent's reply."
What's the source for this claim? Kasparov's "How Life Imitates Chess" is given, but without any page number or other details, and at any rate it is not a primary source. 31.210.226.156 (talk) 16:15, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
