Season articles

[edit]

Hi all, just letting everyone know that I have put together drafts for future season articles at Draft:Ahsoka season 1 and Draft:Ahsoka season 2. The S1 draft is looking really good and the S2 draft is ready for the new info we will (hopefully) be getting later this year. We should be able to move these to the mainspace once S2 starts filming. At that point, this article will become an overview articles which I have mocked-up in my sandbox here. For now, I have expanded this article with the details from the season drafts. Happy to discuss if there are any questions or concerns about my changes. Thanks, adamstom97 (talk) 20:05, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of S1 ending in Premise

[edit]

The end of the Premise section (Thrawn's return and 2 characters stranded) is a significant spoiler and an unnecessary addition to this section. Proposing removal of that line. 2405:9800:B660:33F:D45A:8CBF:A35B:172 (talk) 11:27, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

We don't remove information because of spoilers, per WP:SPOILER. It is also key set-up for the second season. - adamstom97 (talk) 12:09, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It should be removed because it is not part of the "Premise" of the show as a whole nor necessary information about the series. That it is a spoiler only reinforces why it should be removed. It would belong in a "Premise" section of a standalone article about Season 2, but in this case it should only be part of the plot summary of the episode (or of the whole season, if it were to have one). 2405:9800:B660:33F:F89D:2497:5D6F:4A90 (talk) 10:26, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There is currently no separate articles for the seasons, so anything that would be at those articles belongs here for now. And even when there are separate articles for the seasons this article will still have to give an overview of both. The first part of the premise tells readers the general story of the first season and the second part lets them know what has changed going into the second season. - adamstom97 (talk) 11:35, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Cast not needed in lead

[edit]

We really don't need a list of cast members in the article lead when there is a cast section. – Dyolf87 (talk) 19:20, 3 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The lead is a summary of the body of the article. All key details from the article should be covered by that summary. See WP:LEAD for more. - adamstom97 (talk) 19:35, 3 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
A summary - what this article has is a regurgitation. It is not usual to include the entire main cast in the article lead. – Dyolf87 (talk) 10:10, 4 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It is indeed usual to include the main cast. Gonnym (talk) 10:11, 4 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
