Ağstafa → Agstafa – Move to "Agstafa" per WP:UE/WP:COMMONNAME/WP:ENGLISH. Proof of anglicized name being the common name:
Results from Google News: Agstafa: 628 Ağstafa: 3
Results from Google Scholar: Agstafa: 226 Ağstafa: 84
Individual reliable sources referring to city as Agstafa:: RFE/RL, EurasiaNet, JAM News
This is the same name but an anglicized version. Unlike other small villages, this is a fairly large town, which has made a lot of appearances in English-language media, in most of which, "Agstafa:" has been used much more, establishing its WP:COMMONNAME. I'd also like to ask the closing admin to give more attention to the arguments being made rather than the vote counts, as there are people who go over each RM and repeat unrelated policies as an "Oppose" argument. — CuriousGolden (T·C) 13:56, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. Azerbaijani Turkish orthography does not follow the same forms as Turkish orthography. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 19:30, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nom. At least the letter "ğ" is unknown for many languages who doesn't know about Azerbaijani Turkish orthography, for example English-speaking ones. 36.77.95.114 (talk) 21:33, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
