[edit]Question - is the award really open to "any poet" or only "any American poet"???`MrMelonhead (talk) 10:23, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
- Answer: Yes, the competition is open to any poet. They do not have to be American, as long as the poetry is in English and they have not previously published a book length volume of poetry. The book-length volume of poetry is defined as a volume of 48 or more pages published in an edition of 750 or more copies. CrazyPaco (talk) 21:10, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
