- This stuff is pure fiction--made up. It does not exist.Dogface 01:33, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
It arguably exists, because we do not know what Middle eastern herb it's referring too, since alot of them can make a red liquid. Xuchilbara 03:40, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- Yep, the Necronomicon itself is by and large considered purely fictional by most occultists (comically referred to as the "simonomicon"). Regardless of the claimed egregore-like existence of its entities, the plants are definitely fictional within that text. That being said, there definitely are a number of plants in the middle east and the arabian peninsula that could produce red dye. Jamshyd 02:35, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

There's a big spoiler in the part where the article is about Silent Hill 3, I personally think we should advise readers.
Zen (talk) 08:38, 20 January 2008 (UTC)Regardless of whether or not its fictional, it lacks sources. As such, I'd like to know just how authentic this info is.

[edit]Hello NessieVL -- I am interested to know where to get a photograph of a fictitious plant. Rhadow (talk) 17:36, 13 December 2017 (UTC)
- I think there are pictures of many fictional plants, @Rhadow:, like Audrey II, Pikmin, and Biollante. The article specifically mentions three video games, so a screen grab is possible. Is there a separate template for image requests that does not mention photographs? If so, please feel free to update. Nessie (talk) 18:05, 13 December 2017 (UTC)
