Acorn Atom release date
[edit]Just can't find a source stating a release date of 1982 for the Acorn Atom, although a review appears in issue 10 of C&VG (published in August 1982). It would be good to pin down the date with certainty for the Atom release though. Green Lane (talk) 19:50, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
BBC disk?
[edit]Was this released officially on disk? It was on the Micro Power Magic compilations which were on disk but I thought most of these early games were tape only with only a few of the most popular getting disk releases (Killer Gorilla, Frenzy, Felix in the Factory etc).--Retro junkie (talk) 20:42, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
- Hi Retro junkie, firstly thanks very much for corrections to articles I have recently started. I have to be honest, although I owned an Acorn Electron for a few years in the late '80s (which is why I've been uploading some cassette cover scans), I've been completely involved in the ZX Spectrum scene for the last decade (despite my edit history here), so therefore my Acorn computers knowledge is currently a bit rusty! I do have an SSD image of the game Adventure on my HDD, which is why I mentioned the disk version, but in light of your comment, this file is no doubt a later unofficial tape-to-disk conversion. I will now remove the reference to the disk version in the article's infobox as I have no evidence that this was ever officially released. Thanks for the note, Cheers Green Lane (talk) 21:14, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
- Also, if I may ask if you could please have a quick look at the other Acorn-related articles I recently created at your convenience. Please feel free to correct any glaring mistakes, much appreciated thanks. Green Lane (talk) 21:24, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
