Clean up
[edit]I have cleaned up this dab a little, to comply with the MoS. I have removed the dicef from the top of the page, WP is not a dictionary. I have left a few questionable entries on the page (eg, does Adventurers Act need to be on there).--Commander Keane 11:33, 19 November 2005
- The problem with this cleanup is that there now is no article listed here that is useful for many links; for example, Sir Richard Branson is aptly described as an adventurer based upon his ballooning and other exploits, but none of this links listed on this dab would be particularly relevant to someone wanting to know more about this type of activity. --Russ Blau (talk) 21:46, 12 December 2005 (UTC).
- At first I thought this must be a disambiguation page (the way its written and structured), but then realised that its an article page which needs considerable work since its a commonly used term and concept. Happy to work on it and will add a basic definitional intro section for consideration. Jtneill 22:34, 25 December 2005 (UTC)
- I've done a major edit to create this as a primary article and not a disambiguation page (which it was, mistake above). I have removed the disambig tag. I think the term deserves its own article as a solution in part to the problems mentioned above. I'm fairly new to Wikipedia so if this no appropriate or should be done another way, please help out and explain. Jtneill 23:29, 25 December 2005 (UTC)hi my name is tim it is a sweet site.

[edit]Does a couple of boys in t-shirts, baseball caps and jeans (and no bags!) walking on a log two feet above a tiny stream in Ohio really represent adventure in your mind? It doesn't in mine. I suspect these are self-proclaimed adventurers and they've put up the pic of themselves in the hope that their mates think of them as such. To the rest of us, surely, these are not adventurers...but skaters on a log! I'm going to change it, unless anyone has any objections. TheDelineator (talk) 10:46, 7 August 2011 (UTC).
Include an infobox
[edit]I am not sure what infobox is necessary for this article but I believe an infobox will at least make the article look like an article. SoyokoAnis - talk 14:11, 19 December 2021 (UTC)
