Celine Dion
[edit]I have read that Celine Dion is a direct descendant of Adrienne Du Vivier and Augustin Hébert but I cannot find any references that I can use to place it in the article. Does anyone know whether it' s true or not, so it can be mentioned in the article? Adrienne has many descendants living in Quebec today but also in the United States, due to the fact that her daughter Jeanne's grandson Joseph Joffrion migrated to Louisiana and had children whose descendants later moved to other American states. Also, one of Leger's sons went to Detroit and had a family, so Adrienne's genes are now widely diffused on the North American continent. But I would need to cite a source before I added Celine Dion's name.jeanne (talk) 13:15, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
More descendants, unsourced
[edit]The latest edit to this article has included a large number of people who are asserted to be descendants of Adrienne. The list consists of Felix Hebert, Sir Wilfrid Laurier, Robert Bourassa, Jules Léger, Daniel Johnson (Sr.& Jr.), Pierre-Marc Johnson, Paul Martin Sr., Paul Martin Jr., Jacques Parizeau, Joseph-Armand Bombardier, Alanis Morissette, and Mario Lemieux. Can someone find supporting documentation of this? -- Couillaud 16:08, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
