[edit]This page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) --Hap791 (talk) 00:37, 11 September 2011 (UTC)there are many articles and web sites that prove that the information contained in the page is factual and accurate. Additional references where added in order to back up those claims.
This page should be deleted because
[edit]Most of the statements within this article are unverifiable. There is merely usage of news reports which quote extracts from IMDB and Linkedin. IMDB and Linkedin are unverifiable sources. Where comments have been made that were verifiable from police statements they have been deleted. Usually by the same IP addresses, HAP791. One of which traces to the university where Ms Ferreyr reputedly studies. JPG usage was also misrepresented by the poster, HAP791.

I agree. It appears that Ferreyr added most of this wikipedia herself, especially the unsourced parts about her volunteerism and alleged philanthropy 74.101.128.155 (talk) 17:49, 29 May 2013 (UTC)

Article status
[edit]The article has been edited and improved. Restoring it to an earlier version that included poor writing, puffery, and other problems is unacceptable. If editors want to improve the article, they can do so. Otherwise, they must take any major changes here to achieve consensus.--Bbb23 (talk) 19:30, 17 September 2011 (UTC)
No consensus.
[edit]Are you reading the same set of comments as the rest of us?
Graeme Bartlett is misquoting WP:EN Jane77765 and Hap791 continue to believe that unsubstantiated sources count as the real thing. Superbob uses exactly the same language as Jane77765 and makes no valid claim to keeping the bio. There are a couple of unsigned Keep voters whom have never made any other contribution other than voting on this screen. Collect merely relies on her being mentioned in Soros news items.
Against that we have 4 votes for delete. ie she is not notable. Cullen shows that the information sources are unsubstantiated.
I view that as a categoric agreement to delete. I believe we have to discount the people misquoting information sources. William de Berg (talk) 19:14, 26 September 2011 (UTC)
Well, User:Sandstein is a very experienced administrator and I agree with his no consensus close, if you object to the close you have to discuss with him on his talkapge first prior to requesting a deletion review discussion WP:DRV . The best is to slowly make a case here and remove whatever is unverifiable (comment here first and allow users time to find support for incited claims) and in a few weeks ask if there are objections to a renomination and send it back to AFD. False informations
[edit]Informations about Ferreyr phylanthropy are unreliable and probably false. Searching the string "Ferreyr Tijuana", only results copied from Wikipedia appear. --79.56.203.59 (talk) 12:56, 21 March 2013 (UTC)
Full protection
[edit]I have fully protected the article for 3 days to stop the edit war about what information should be included. However, prior to doing so, I have removed the most recent contentious point. Normally, admins just protect the most recent version, per WP:Protection policy. However, there are a few cases where we are asked to consider article content, and WP:BLP policy is one of them. I am very concerned that an allegation of an allegation of rape, especially when charges were not pressed, is negative information. Furthermore, if we are going to include negative biographical info, it must be verified by very high quality sources...and the Daily Mail rarely meets that requirement. As such, I believe that that before that information is added, you need to take the matter to the BLP noticeboard and get the opinion of uninvolved editors. I'm strictly saying it can't be in the article, but I am saying that we need a clear consensus to show it meets WP:BLP before we add it. I have no opinion on the rest of the disputed information, however. Please discuss that here and try to come to a consensus while the article is protected. Qwyrxian (talk) 13:39, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
- Qwyrxian thanks for your intervention. I also have no opinion on the disputed content, however I do accept that if the daily mail is not regarded as a reliable source, that the previous revision was a violation of WP:BLP. Edit warring rarely resolves a content dispute and on that note I'm off to bed. Best wishes Flat Out let's discuss it 13:44, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
- Infos about Ferreyr philanthropy are completely unsourced, but they are still present in the voice. Lenore (talk) 14:11, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
- I've removed the entire section, because totally unsourced. --Lenore (talk) 22:37, 25 July 2013 (UTC)

Not sourced - mother's name
[edit]The Adriana Ferreyr wikipedia article currently says "Ferreyr was born in Bahia, Brazil, the daughter of Maria Cardoso Borges and Rogério Ferreiro, a civil engineer.[4]" The source provided is http://siterg.terra.com.br/news/2011/10/27/adriana-ferreyr-e-george-soros-tragedia-baiana/
That source does not mention the name "Maria" (the supposed mother of Adriana Ferreyr) but does mention that Ferreyr's father is Rogério Ferreiro.
Because of this, I'm going to delete the mother's name from the Adriana Ferreyr wikipedia article and leave the father's name. 63.247.160.139 (talk) 22:16, 3 March 2014 (UTC)
