Hi, is it OK if I nominate this for DYK later today? Thanks, Matty.007 08:44, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
- I have gone ahead, given that I have expanded and sourced the article somewhat, I feel that I can. The nomination is at Template:Did you know nominations/Addison Cresswell. Thanks, Matty.007 17:55, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
Fine with me. Sealman (talk) 21:25, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
Place of birth
[edit]Just to note that my change of place of birth to Kensington was reverted please note that the General Register Office Birth Index entry for "Addison L Cresswell" shows his birth was registered in Kensington, London in the 3rd Quarter of 1960, mother's maiden name is mentioned which is the same as that recorded when Audrey married Peter Cresswell in 1959 and the same name in his brother's birth entry in 1963 (Luke was born in Brighton). As this is a primary source I will just park it here for information, thanks. MilborneOne (talk) 18:18, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
- Looking through the refs, only the Guardian obituary, which already wrongly reported the date of death (and the age?), is probably not to be taken above another source if the details are different. Thanks, Matty.007 19:58, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
- Changed back. Please can you add the sources? Thanks, Matty.007 20:16, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
Great work!
[edit]This was a red-link a few days ago, now it's a well-written, well-sourced article. Well done everyone involved! 阝工巳几千凹父工氐 (talk) 06:31, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
Reflinks
[edit]The "view history" tab shows an alarming number of changes made by me. I had enormous difficulty, even with the aid of the Help Desk, in using the Reflinks tool to insert footnote #10, and the changes reflect my experiments to make it work. The Reflinks tool seems to be faulty and has been reported. I inserted the Reflinks code manually in the end and the footnote shows correctly. --P123cat1 (talk) 15:13, 10 May 2014 (UTC)
