[edit]The information re Watsons, Armstrongs and Bamburgh Castle are not clear. The first Lord Armstrong, 1810 to 1900, was married to Margaret Ramshaw. On her death he bought Bamburgh Castle. The great-nephew who inherited was the son of the owner of Adderstone , and was called William Henry Armstrong Fitzpatrick Watson. He adopted the name of Watson-Armstrong, and in 1903 was created Baron Watson-Armstrong of Bamburgh and Cragside, the first Lord Armstrong of the second creation. 09:32, 13 August 2010 (UTC)Laconnell (talk) 09:32, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
