Lede line re Acadia proper

I'm surprised there is no separate article for Acadia as such; nothing in the Places section in fact; it's still in use in Acadian French to refer to Acadian areas of the Maritime Provinces; and of course has a specific history and identity. Maybe there's something on Acadians/Acadian people if there is such an entry, or in New France or History of New France. At the least the lede line could specify that the area in question is today's provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and PEI......not sure if the Gaspe was included, it might have been.......have posted this to WP:CANTALK we'll see what comes of discussion there or which might come here. I may amend the lede line myself, but think there should be a good article on Acadia proper.Skookum1 (talk) 07:37, 11 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
