- There were several Stalin's campaigns. One was "anti-mendelists", and Alexander Gawrilowitsch Gurwitsch as biologist suffered from it. And other (somewhat later) was "anti-cosmopolitan", it relates to literary critics, particularly to Abram Gurvich. You shouldn't mix that.
