Anti-abortion violence section

[edit]

Someone recently tried to remove a section of this article relating to David McMenemy's arson attack. They did so without proper consensus, and their edit was rightfully reverted. I feel its a valid point of discussion though, and maybe a warranted removal. McMenemy was a Michigander, but the arson attack was done in Iowa. Should this continue to be included in the article "Abortion in Michigan", or be removed? I'd like to hear other opinions on this. RoundSquare (talk) 21:10, 26 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I wondered about that. The edit [1] was botched, which could have led to its revert. I checked out the source, and it wasn't clear to me the scope of what they were saying, i.e. whether it was applicable to an article specifically related to Michigan. I suppose the "ideas" came from a resident of Michigan, but the attack was in Iowa. So I can see a strong argument for removing the section. signed, Willondon (talk) 22:12, 26 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
