Upon release, the film received mixed to positive reviews, with critics praising mainly Mahesh Babu's performance in the commercial entertainer. The Film got a minimum average rating of 3/5 from the critics. The film collected a record breaking $530,000 dollars in the USA premieres and also created a Day 1 record in some areas in Andhra.

Are these numbers correct? Several papers except the ones supporting Maheshbabu stated that this movie flopped at boxoffice. It is the same story with Rabasa. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.10.140.17 (talk) 06:57, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
