List of A roads → A road
A road → A road (disambiguation)

– The disambiguation page A road seems to fully include the subject that is defined in the first section of List of A roads meaning that the "List of A roads" article is most likely the WP:DABCONCEPT article for the disambiguation page, and thus inherently makes it the primary topic for the term. (If a reader is looking up this term attempting to find its meaning, may as well direct them to that information rather than a disambiguation page.) With that being said, after the move, I propose that the article's current name, List of A roads, become a redirect to the "List of A roads" section in this article. Wouldn't it be better to merge the two articles? The article links on the current A road already appear on the List of A roads. They are are part of the same topic. — AjaxSmack 19:37, 22 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

That would probably be okay as well. However, the disambiguation page has a "See also" section that is probably helpful, but would probably have no place in the main article, so ... I'm really not sure. Steel1943 (talk) 22:34, 22 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The "See also" is very weak and the linked articles are partial title matches with no specific relation to A roads. But if the links are really necessary, they could be incorporated into the intro along the lines of "A roads are roads beginning with the letter A". — AjaxSmack 02:33, 23 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
