• "The October 4, 1890 number of The Athenaeum" and "the September 13, 1890 number of The Academy" Is number a term that is commonly used for issues of sf magazines?
  • I don't know if it is commonly used for sf magazines specifically (and these are literary review magazines that don't really have a sf focus), but it is a commonly used synonym for issue in this sense more generally (mainly in British English, according to the Oxford Dictionary of English). • Are there any images that could be used to illustrate the body of the text?
  • I thought about it. There are apparently no free images of Cromie (at least not on Commons)—our article on him uses a fair use one. I considered adding images of Verne and Wells, but it seemed odd to add images of other authors without having an image of the author of the work the article is about. I'm certainly open to suggestions, but it seemed most natural to make do without images. TompaDompa (talk) 16:15, 14 August 2023 (UTC)
