  • I have copyedited the article, feel free to discuss any changes you disagree with.
  • "The October 4, 1890 number of The Athenaeum" and "the September 13, 1890 number of The Academy" Is number a term that is commonly used for issues of sf magazines?
  • Are there any images that could be used to illustrate the body of the text?
    • I thought about it. There are apparently no free images of Cromie (at least not on Commons)—our article on him uses a fair use one. I considered adding images of Verne and Wells, but it seemed odd to add images of other authors without having an image of the author of the work the article is about. I'm certainly open to suggestions, but it seemed most natural to make do without images. TompaDompa (talk) 16:15, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • References are reliable and properly formatted.
  • Spot-checks:
    • Fennell, Jack (2014). "Robert Cromie (1856–1907)". Irish Science Fiction. Oxford University Press. Verifies all claims made.
    • "Novels of the Week". The Athenaeum. No. 3284. Verifies all claims made.
    • Killheffer, Robert K. J.; Stableford, Brian; Langford, David (2023). "Mars". In Clute, John; Langford, David; Sleight, Graham (eds.). The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction (4th ed.). Verifies all claims made.
    • "Reviews, &c". The Publishers' Circular. Vol. LIII, no. 1270. London. Verifies all claims made.
  • That's all I have. AryKun (talk) 15:10, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I like it for the image slot. Hook and image check out and interested me. Putting this message here as a placeholder for me to easily find it. Anyone else can also promote it when a slot is available. Thank you for the article @TompaDompa:. Bruxton (talk) 18:52, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
