Need royalty-free images
[edit]I'll see what I can whip up in terms of images, but does anyone have any royalty-free images we can use? --Edward Sandstig 16:41, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
I notice someone asked about these http://www.timawa.net/forum/index.php?topic=22000.0 and someone needs to ask again. They are great photos. Or, go chase down FMC and see if they'll release some photos for promo purposes. Shoobe01 (talk) 18:05, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Is that what the Dutch call a YPR-765 PRI/I? --Edward Sandstig 13:41, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
- I think so - but I'm not sure. It could easily be one of the other variants. It was the best free image I could find. :( Megapixie 14:26, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
- Picture's fine, I'll see if I can get an acquaintance of mine to release some of his pictures to a more open license. I sure hope there's someone on Wikipedia willing to do a walkthrough though and post a few pictures under an open license to flesh things out. ;) Btw, great work on the article! If you've got a reference for some of the stuff though, feel free to add the ISBN number in case it's a book. --Edward Sandstig 16:27, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
- Pretty much all straight out of Jane's (see ref section). If there is anything in particular you feel needs citing, leave a cite tag on it - and I'll provide an inline reference. Megapixie 03:19, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
Need Accurate Photos
[edit]The Bradley is an offshoot of the MICV programs, and is a different branch of the development tree from the AIFV. It is larger, laid out differently, and mechanically different. The image needs to be removed, and replaced with something else. I'd do it, but don't have a spare image that can be freely used, and don't want to mess up the rest of the page. Shoobe01 (talk) 18:07, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
The Infobox image is wrong
[edit]The vehicle depicted in the infobox is an M2 or M3 Bradley IFV/CFV (firstly, note the six ground wheels to the M113-based AIFV's five), and therefore, I am going to remove it.--L1A1 FAL (talk) 03:14, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Belgian numbers just don't add up!
- Section mentions 416 vehicles sold/delivered to other countries (50 Bahrain, 169 Chile, 71 Jordan, 16 Lebanon and 110 Morocco) + an unknown number to Egypt. Adding the 190 still held by Belgium gives 606 + Egypt. Yet article says Belgium only had 514 in the first place! Assuming none to Egypt, we have a difference of 92.
- Source used for Bahrain order says only 139 ordered by Chile (it estimates all were delivered, but the true delivery could have been higher or lower than 139) and only 61 were delivered to Jordan. While Lebanon ordered 16 and Morocco is estimated to have ordered 110, source has only estimated deliveries. Perhaps some of those still held by Belgium had been ordered but not delivered (by 1 Jan 2012)?
We could do with references for the other orders/deliveries.Glevum (talk) 01:57, 11 February 2013 (UTC)

Russia as a user
[edit]I don't think that Russia should be called a user of the AIFV just because they captured one Dabiggestchungus (talk) 22:31, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
- Agreed. The source provided also appears to be a pro-Russian website, hardly NPOV. 220.255.241.198 (talk) 08:36, 6 January 2023 (UTC)
