This kinda seems like an advertisement for ABS...I'm not saying it shouldn't exist, but it needs...work..."and ABS strives for excellence in delivering the best computing experience ever from start to finish."? SaderBiscut 21:39, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think so also... Paulm27 23:11, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, and have accordingly added an {{advert}} template to the page. By the by, the most recent edits, the ones adding much of the advertisment-like content, were by Abscomputers. Some of the added information is useful, so I'd rather not remove it all. --ChetTheGray 22:31, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How can I make this so it does not look like an advertisement? I basically got my company text from "about" page on our site. Thanks in advance for any help.

Yeah, that's the problem. OK, here's a basic point. This is not your page. It is Wikipedia's. So why does it have words like "we" and "our"? Ads have those words. Impartial, factual articles don't. The whole tone of the article is you trying to promote yourself. Imagine you were writing a profile of a competitor. What would it look like? Fan-1967 18:26, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Also, that whole Values section needs to just go. It's dreadful adspeak. Personally, I'd take it off my webpage and hire a new copywriter, but that's just my opinion. But it certainly doesn't belong here.
We have articles here, not ads. Fan-1967 18:30, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
