I re-measured the distances covered by he A1(M) sections with an OSM-based online router and came up with some slightly differing results than mentioned here. See table on German article. --Kreuzschnabel (talk) 08:56, 11 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
There is some discrepancy about the total length of the actual A1 road. While the article gives a total of 420 miles / 660 kms, the sections listed in the table add up to ca. 638 kms, and a routing request over the entire road based on OSM data comes up with 642.8 km (399.4 miles). So, what source do the 420 miles come from? Maybe it’s just outdated, however, 20 miles won’t easily be cut by route alterations. --Kreuzschnabel (talk) 10:22, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
FYI, on 05 August 2022, John Maynard Friedman reduced the amount of major junctions from 121 to 61. The edit summary was removed 'white' A roads as insufficiently notable. On 11 September 2022, Dr Greg reducing the amount of major junctions from 61 to 15. The edit summary was reduce number of junctions in infobox, to get closer to a suggested maximum of 10. However, according to Imzadi1979, the amount of major junctions needs to 'under' ten. Roads4117 (talk) 09:37, 2 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
