Acording to wikipedia this part of the earth has two divisions first is Antartica the second is the Antartic Ocean or as its known on wikipedia as the southern ocean. the southern ocean is 20,327,000 km and 7,848,000 miles antartica is 14,000,000 km and 5,400,000 miles so this region of the earth is about 34,327,000 km and 13,248,000 miles. Immy own calculations i thought it was 48,260,000 miles i was wrong so now we all know. 99.51.212.6 (talk) 23:30, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
