Comments
- "also known as Tammany Hall. It is known as Tammany Hall's" a shade repetitive.
- Fixed.
- " or "wigwam".[1]" I don't think this is essential for the lead and without explanation feels a little odd there.
- Removed.
- "44 Union Square replaced a former Tammany headquarters on nearby 14th Street. " I'm mildly confused, do you mean the HQ of Tammany moved? The building surely didn't replace one on a nearby street...
- Yes, that is what I meant. epicgenius (talk)
- "a city landmark.[1] " no need for the ref in the lead assuming it's mentioned and referenced in the main prose.
- Fixed.
- "Starting in 2016, the former Tammany Hall Building was renovated..." not keen on "Starting from..."
- Fixed.
- "1910-1911" en-dash.
- Fixed.
- "Consolidated Gas (later Con Edison) Building" I wouldn't put the "later Con Edison" into the pipe.
- Fixed.
- "the chief of the Lenape that originally" wouldn't "who" work better than "that"?
- Done.
- "D&D sold " who's D&D?
- Fixed, I mentioned D & D Company in the previous sentence. epicgenius (talk) 19:33, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
- Consider inflation for some of this historic values.
- Done.
- "while the new headquarters' construction represented its future" this is mildly whimsical and probably needs attribution if someone said this.
- Done, I think it was in the source.
- "access to graft" I'm sorry I don't know what that means. Do you mean "cheap labor"?
- Removed.
- Link Times Square first time.
- Done.
- "Square Theatre.[56][53]" ref order if poss.
- Done.
- American colonial is overlinked.
- Fixed.
- " is located in the center of the facade and is located" needlessly repetitive.
- Fixed.
- The decimal places for area conversion are probably unnecessary.
- Fixed.
- "in 2016[64] to make" move ref to end.
- Fixed.
That's all I have, it's a very nice, comprehensive article, the above are just some suggestions. On hold while we discuss. Cheers. The Rambling Man (Staying alive since 2005!) 19:06, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
