Conflicting sources for Best Supporting Actor
[edit]The article and early reports say Razzak won Best Supporting Actor for Bhalobasar Rong:
- "National Film Award 2012 in Bangladesh". Cine Jalsha. 30 September 2013. (cited in article)
- "Shakib-Joya - the best". The New Nation. 9 February 2014.
But later reports say ATM Shamsuzzaman won Best Supporting Actor (as well as Best Villain) for Chorabali:
- "PM presents National Film Awards". BanglaNews24. 10 May 2014. (cited in ATM Shamsuzzaman)
- "Sons receive award for Humayun". The Daily Star. UNB. 11 May 2014.
- "National Film Award celebrates Bangladeshi film history". Dhaka Tribune. 12 May 2014. (cited in article)
What is correct? Is there more to the story? --Worldbruce (talk) 19:50, 13 February 2016 (UTC)
- @Worldbruce:, I think I found where the confusion came from. According to this report on 1 October 2013, the jury board recommended the list to the ministry which mentioned Razzak as the won Best Supporting Actor for the film Bhalobasar Rong. But the final announcement, on 13 May 2014, mentioned ATM Shamsuzzaman for the film Chorabali as the winner in that category. And the other actor Shahiduzzaman Selim was named the Best Villain for Chorabali in both of the reports. I'll update the article accordingly. --Dead.rabbit (talk) 01:51, 1 March 2020 (UTC)
