[edit]This page needs cleaned up. There are two different rounds, 25 x 40 mm and 25 x 59 mm .
Janes.com article states 25 x 40 mm is a low velocity round developed for the XM25. The 25 x 59 mm round was developed for the XM109 and XM107. http://www.janes.com/articles/Janes-Ammunition-Handbook/25-x-59-B-LW25-grenades-United-States.html
