Talk:PHM Racing
[edit]I want to bring up an edit on this page regarding PHM Racing. An edit of mine that clarified that Charouz left the team was removed because it apparently already happened in 2023. I want to put this back in here for new readers to not be confused, and I have an example to back this up: Franco Colapinto was signed to MP Motorsport in place of Jehan Daruvala for the last round of 2023 and the whole of 2024, which was put in the section Driver Changes. His contract was agreed on before the season. Thank you for reading. If you have any questions I will do my best to answer them. DualSkream 16:43, 18 January 2024 (EST).
- I do agree on the Colapinto part, I personally would not list Colapinto as a driver change happening between 2023 and 2024, too. H4MCHTR (talk) 06:25, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
Calendar changes
[edit]The cited source says nothing about the Imola race being a calendar change. The source says only that last year's race did not proceed. The race was on the calendar until it was decided the race could not go ahead. It did not "return" to the calendar this year as last year's race was on the calendar. Either get a better source or leave as is. Source did not support the claim. -- Falcadore (talk) 15:07, 28 July 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, the race in Imola was on the calendar in 2023 and was still recognised as a round of the official calendar even after the cancellation. However, there was a discussion last year on the F1 page about how or if we include the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in the calendar, and it was decided to not include it at all, only adding info in the calendar changes section. We did the same for the F2 and F3 pages.
- So for 2024, the race weekend in Imola returned, and because we removed it from the calendar in 2023, we listed it as a calendar change in 2024. There was the same situation with the 2011 Bahrain Grand Prix, which was cancelled. We listed it as a calendar change in 2012, even though it was included in the 2011 calendar before the cancellation.
- About the source, it specifically references the cancellation in 2023, which fits to the second part of the sentence we attached the source to. But the first part of the sentence is not really fitting for the source, so I partially agree with you. But if you would find a better source, feel free to change it ;)
- Still, in my opinion, it should be listed as a calendar change. BryOn2205U (talk) 13:41, 29 July 2024 (UTC)

[edit]user IsaacMDB23 is vandalising this section by adding false information. FerrariFan77 (talk) 17:28, 9 September 2024 (UTC)
- Can you explain why you think this is vandalism rather than good-faith editing? I see no issue with the changes this user has made; O'Sullivan has announced his immediate departure from the team. Jestal50 (talk) 09:12, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
- i didn't know that at the time. there was no sources confirming it so i thought it was false FerrariFan77 (talk) 16:34, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
