[edit]I would say that the current reliance on the IDF directly as a source should not be in this article and should be replaced ASAP. It is a party to the conflict, and the instigator, which makes their words clearly unreliable for citing anything as fact. There are currently 3 sources which are directly from the IDF website. Ideally, sources which are simply reporting on what the IDF has said should also not be used to cite anything as fact. Mason7512 (talk) 21:27, 14 October 2024 (UTC)

The source of the map
[edit]The source from which the map is taken, should be stated in the article (which surprisingly is not the case). On top of that, there are other sources that contradict the said map's claims. Simple geo-locations of footage of israeli military activity, indicate on a complete israeli control on maroun al ras, odeisseh, and ramiyeh (as opposed to the displayed claims of the map). Also, israeli controlled detonations have been observed in bint jbeil, indicating on a substantial IDF presence in the area, again, as opposed to the map's claims. 46.19.86.183 (talk) 12:34, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
