[edit]The map showing which parties won seats in which ward shows two Tories won in Cowfold, Shermanbury and West Grinstead, whereas a Liberal Democrat won the second seat. The map's creator is called Into Oblivion, and if I click on that (apparent) link, it isn't a link, and says "Wikimedia Commons does not currently have a user page called Into oblivion.". How can I send Into Oblivion a message without it going into oblivion? Nick Barnett (talk) 12:54, 20 September 2023 (UTC)
The Henfield by-election of 29 Feb 2024
[edit]Wikipedia shows the Conservative in 2023 on 39.6%, and getting elected. This Conservative candidate on 29 Feb 2024 polled 37.7% of the total, yet he is shown as going up by 12.9%ge points on this page.
The elected Green candidate polled 44.2%. In 2023, she polled 39.0%. Her vote share is up 5.3%ge points. How can she be said to have increased by 19.8, as this page has it?
The Labour candidate went from 31% to 14.2%; but her decrease is put at only 5.2.
I would expect to see Conservative down 1.9, Green up 5.3, Labour down 16.7, and LDs down 3.3 (using their average vote share from 2023). I’ll insert these figures unless anyone replies to this with an alternative view in the next few days, a week, say. Nick Barnett (talk) 16:10, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
