Controversies section
I think this article needs a section dealing with controversies that have cropped up during this election. The IEC ANC candidate registration controversy,[1][2] the DA Phoenix poster scandal[3][4], and the failure by most parties to disclose the source of campaign funds are some of the more notable controversies in this election.[5]--Discott (talk) 11:59, 22 October 2021 (UTC)
- @Discott: Hi, there! I generally dislike dedicated controversy sections, since they're never neutral (I'm speaking from first-hand experience). If we include a controversy section, we might as well include a "Praise" section. There is this great essay at Wikipedia:Criticism. We should integrate the controversies that you have mentioned above into the "Political parties" section or perhaps create a separate "Campaign" section? Let me know what you think. - Fair enough. I think you make a good argument and I am happy to support it.--Discott (talk) 20:12, 24 October 2021 (UTC)

Election photographs
I have added some photographs of election posters I have come across in Cape Town. So far I have not yet come across any EFF or ANC election posters but I will upload them if/when I come across some.--Discott (talk) 15:37, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
- Since level one lockdown has been announced I have suddenly noticed some EFF posters going up. However I still have been unable to come across any ANC posters. I went to Philippi East, Nynaga and all the way to Stellenbosch and still could not find any. I will continue looking.--Discott (talk) 12:12, 8 October 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Discott, I may be able to get a photograph of an ANC Poster and other political parties more prominent in Johannesburg. TapticInfo (talk) 16:52, 21 October 2021 (UTC)
- TapticInfo that would be awesome, please do. Especially if the same photograph(s) could also include other political parties as well.--Discott (talk) 08:55, 22 October 2021 (UTC)
- @Discott: I found two ANC posters in Paarl. Best, LefcentrerightDiscuss 23:39, 23 October 2021 (UTC)
- Awesome, the more the merrier. I have also started noticing a few but only quite recently. I would prefer more photographs from outside of Cape Town to be used anyway. Don't want Cape Town to dominate in its coverage relative to other parts of the country.--Discott (talk) 20:14, 24 October 2021 (UTC)

- @Discott: Hi, I found a ANC billboard off the N1 Highway. It’s upload and place on the article currently TapticInfo (talk) 12:43, 1 November 2021 (UTC)
ANC Result in 2016
I have tried to edit the ANC result on the ANC page for the 2016 Municipal Election. This article says the ANC got 53.91% of the vote in 2016. But the ANC page says they got 55.7% of the vote in the 2016 Municipal Election. Why is there a difference in these numbers? Someone needs to make them the same. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:547:A00:2F0:D8CC:540E:5C82:1EB6 (talk) 21:26, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
Voter Turnout
Voter turnout statistics seem to reference articles which state numbers as of 6pm on election day. The current section on the wiki does not state this and is misleading. Dual Vector (talk) 10:32, 4 November 2021 (UTC)
- Done Corrected. The final tally is around 46%. 2600:8800:2C0A:5700:2D35:B6B7:9FC3:1826 (talk) 05:13, 5 November 2021 (UTC)
