Does anyone have comments on this format for results to capture split times or is this too much? @Donan.raven: @Kasper2006:

In my opinion is perfect! --Kasper2006 (talk) 18:59, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If you're willing to add in this level of detail - fantastic! It does imply that we should have details about the various courses on the main AC-2021 page, which isn't there yet, and the header of the "course" column should link to that info. It might also be good to indicate (perhaps with an asterisk) when the number of legs was shortened to 4 mid-race. My only aesthetic comment is that the number of flags is quite a lot, visually. But, I don't have any better alternative suggestion. Wittylama 15:17, 18 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am glad to do it and have updated it. Obviously, it is not as useful now that American Magic pulled out but it can be used for future events. I think that flags help and become less of an eyesore when they switch between teams as seen in RR2, but I will work on a way to make it better too, and will figure out how to turn this into a template for easier use in the future Pdohm12 (talk) 18:13, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wittylama do we want to put the link to the video next to the winning time instead of a new column? The goal is to turn this into a template for later use if people like it and my concern is that most races don't have video links. Keeping it like this might keep consistancy down the line, while also showing the link

It's better. --Kasper2006 (talk) 06:23, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Kasper2006: Yeah I wasn’t convinced myself that a new column was necessarily the right thing, nor even whether it would be appreciate to put the videos in at all- since they’re external links (and they’re blocked from viewing in some countries). But they are the official broadcast in full, so they’re quite important ‘primary source’ I feel.
Given they’re the videos of the whole race (not just of the winner), perhaps putting them in column 1 - alongside the race number - makes more sense than inside the column of the winner’s time? Wittylama 15:20, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Followup - I've now made this change as described. see the diff. Wittylama 11:06, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I Like this format a lot! Makes sense to me, thanks for the collaboration!Pdohm12 (talk) 17:27, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Pdohm12: I noticed your "sorry I was late" diff today - https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=2021_Prada_Cup&type=revision&diff=1008414710&oldid=1008277767&diffmode=source - because I had been trying to fill in them missing details earlier, but couldn't work out where you'd actually been getting that precise info. Could you perhaps put the source of all these precise timing stats you're using for the tables, in the 'external link' section? It would be silly to make it into a footnote for each and every single time you've got a lap-time, but it's important that this source be made quite visible since we're relying on it a lot. p.s. thanks for your dilligent efforts keeping these data up to date. Wittylama 12:34, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Wittylama: Sorry about that, I thought I mentioned my source earlier. The data is taken from the americas cup virtual eye advanced dashboard page, which gives you all the stats on such for each race (times, distances, etc...). I can make a link to the virtual eye. It is an applet instead of individual pages, so itll be hard to link by race, but the link will have each race in it https://www.americascup.com/en/advanced-dashboard Pdohm12 (talk) 18:47, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
