The result of the move request was: Moved to 2021 Palmer, Alaska helicopter crash per discussion as this provides a more accurate title than just Alaska as originally proposed. (non-admin closure) Turnagra (talk) 19:51, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
2021 Alaska Airbus AS350B3 helicopter crash → 2021 Alaska helicopter crash – No other helicopter crash meeting general notability guidelines seems to have occurred in Alaska during 2021; multiple searches of mainstream news sites all seem to lead to this specific crash. Although the make and model of aircraft is typically included in accident article titles per community guidelines, it has often been removed later when it proves unnecessary to disambiguate the incident, such as with the 2020 Calabasas helicopter crash or 2017 Medford, New Jersey helicopter crash. - Oppose - I agree the current title is problematic, but I still think "Alaska" is too broad. I would support 2021 Palmer, Alaska, helicopter crash or 2021 Knik Glacier helicopter crash. Bneu2013 (talk) 07:24, 28 May 2022 (UTC)
- I would support 2021 Palmer, Alaska, helicopter crash. I hesitate to support the Knik Glacier suggestion because that strips the word Alaska out of the title. Carguychris (talk) 19:48, 2 June 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose I agree with Bneu2013, and would support 2021 Palmer, Alaska helicopter crash.
