Championship standings
[edit]Hi, @Dh16dh: I have two questions: 1. Why the drivers' championship standings features car numbers? This info is trivial and should be removed. 2. Why info in the standings differs from https://www.dtm.com/en/dtm-trophy/standings? It certainly doesn't confirm theory that championship standings are based on car numbers and for example doesn't show Lopez as the championship contestant. If you have the source which is not provided in the article please do it. Cheers. Corvus tristis (talk) 15:44, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
- I understand your question's and honestly I'm not entirely sure, however, the DTM Trophy website has replaced the drivers whose entrant number was the same. For example, looking at the results, the Lausitzring round, Lopez was a participant, however, his entry has been replaced in the results section https://www.dtm.com/en/dtm-trophy/results. I know that's not definitive proof, however, it's the only thing that made sense with the official standings. I've looked at the standings that are displayed after the second Nurburgring race, however, and I see that they do have the championship standings per driver and not per entry. I would assume this is just an oversight from the admin of the DTM Trophy website. I will revert/separate the results into each respective driver. Dh16dh (talk) 16:08, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
- Well, I have looked to the YouTube translation and got even more confused with the understanding what is happening with DTM site, probably you are correct and this site is not reliable. Probably third-party sources would help us more. Corvus tristis (talk) 18:51, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
