Passed

I don't know the exact format to record this though. Hcobb (talk) 15:47, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Balance of viewpoints in Background section

[edit]

In the background portion of the article, the last 2-3 paragraphs relay Uber's data analysis on the impacts of Prop-22. Given the possibility of bias in the findings, why have these portions not been edited to reflect a more neutral viewpoint highlighting the contentious literature on the subject since the article's creation? --Yd003 (talk) 05:22, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Draft Bibliography for Prospective Contribution to Article

[edit]

I plan to rework a bit of the background section of the article - creating a new section to discuss the contested projected effects of the bill, specifically driver earnings, flexibility and benefits, as well as one further discussing interpretation. The bibliography I'm looking to refer to is:

Proposed Planned Edit

[edit]

I plan to add a new section titled “Economic and Social Impacts” assessing how Prop 22 has affected drivers, companies, and the gig economy in California. I will try to summarize studies or reports on wages, work conditions, and benefits for gig workers post-Prop 22. Depending on the availability of data, I may even compare outcomes between California and states without similar legislation, showing how Prop 22 may influence similar legislative attempts in other regions.
