Where does this go
[edit]@SandyGeorgia and Jamez42: This part of the article was under pro-Maduro demonstrations, but it is from January and it is not really about the rallies:
- Journalist Javier Mayorca reported that the government prepared a campaign to "force police and military officers to sign the open letter" on 10 January.[1] According to PROVEA, a group of police officers of the Mariño municipality of the Nueva Esparta state that refused to sign the document were arrested.[2] Journalist Nitu Pérez Osuna reported complaints that "hundreds" of employees of the public television channel TVes were fired for refusing to sign the letter.[3][better source needed] On 17 February, two National Guardsmen were detained for refusing to sign the book "Hands Off Venezuela" and expressing their agreement with the entrance of humanitarian aid.[4]

- I haven't really followed the organization of that article, so not sure ... up to you :) :) I am just glad you are saving it somewhere, because we have to be more aware of the building blocks. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 16:39, 10 May 2019 (UTC)

Merge sections
[edit]With the elimination of the unrelated, the undue weight, and the badly sourced information, the rival protests section is smaller. It can be expanded, but I propose anyway that we merge protest and counterprotests in the same timeline/section. --MaoGo (talk) 12:04, 13 May 2019 (UTC)

Should this be added?

- Completely, Rufo Chacón's injuries have received near as much coverage as Rafael Arévalo's death.
If I'm not mistakenIt was discussed in the National Assembly, the governor condemned directly the incident and the moment in the week is particularly important, among other reasons. --Jamez42 (talk) 15:53, 3 July 2019 (UTC) - This seems Done --Jamez42 (talk) 09:40, 25 July 2019 (UTC)
