What is a "lollipop sign"?

"The session had fewer incidents this time round" 'This time round' is too informal, and by my count, there are the same number of incidents listed?
which led to an improved in how his car would operate" Bad grammar
" this success would strive his team " Not sure "strive" is the word you want?
"This promoted race organisers " Promoted is the wrong word.
