Again - why are parties being added to nonpartisan elections?

It’s one thing to add them to state-wide candidates which have party affiliation stated on this ballot.

Adding party affiliations - marking them as dem vs republican in the info boxes is not constructive and is misleading on the electoral system in California. Voter nominated offices, mayors, county supervisors are nonpartisan.

Additionally - this and SO many other articles on municipal and county offices is without references to their party affiliations - again not that it’s relevant. Marleeashton (talk) 08:42, 27 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
