first paragraph: switch the red link in "sweep" to link to Whitewash (sport) because right now it links to Whitewash (sports) 173.68.23.224 (talk) 03:41, 9 June 2018 (UTC)

Prose
[edit]Can anybody help flesh out the game sections with prose updates? These need to be more like last year's. – Muboshgu (talk) 03:55, 9 June 2018 (UTC)

The Warriors defeated the Cavaliers in a four game sweep. This was the first time a team was swept in the NBA Finals since 2007 when the Cavaliers were swept by the San Antonio Spurs in their first ever NBA Finals appearance. Scottandwendi (talk) 05:49, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
- Not done First, precisely this text is gone from the lead; it has been edited. Second, TMI, too much emphasis on a third party team for the lead. -SusanLesch (talk) 14:59, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
Please change two instances of "resign' to "re-sign"
[edit]In the Golden State Warriors background section, please change two instances of the word "resign" to "re-sign" Resign means to quit voluntarily. Re-sign means to sign (up) again. In this case, the Warriors are clearly again signing (re-signing) players that were already under contract, so "re-sign' is called for here. Thanks much! 50.0.72.99 (talk) 19:16, 14 August 2018 (UTC)
Infobox template change
[edit]I propose using this infobox instead of the currently used one. It is much clearer, with pertinent information for a wide range of readers.

Infinite mission (talk) 15:49, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Infinite mission: A game-by-game breakdown for an infobox is overkill. A series summary is fine. That being said, {{Infobox basketball final}} should remove the undue media and referee listings, which are better detailed in the body. Incidentally, you should probably have this discussion at WT:NBA, or put a notification there. Regards.—Bagumba (talk) 16:54, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Bagumba: I started a discussion there. I found a different template, and I'm curious what you and others think of it. Thanks for the feedback.
