Player Positions
[edit]A couple of changes made on 3/9/18:
- Player positions updated for the Sarri era. Kante now plays CM, Moses now plays RW (Sarri stated in a recent interview that Moses will start playing more regularly after he adjusts back to playing as a winger).
- Changed Hudson-Odoi to winger (was listed as AM)
- Moved the wingers to the "forwards" section.
- Added a second position to players who regularly play in multiple positions (Pedro, Hudson-Odoi, and Zappacosta all used on both sides of the pitch). Kante listed as CM / DM as he seems likeliest to fill in at DM is Jorginho is ever injured. Will update once we find out who Sarri plans to play as Jorginho's backup. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:6000:57C5:1A00:C026:45A6:8835:B16 (talk) 17:36, 3 September 2018 (UTC)
A template for transfers
[edit]I'd really appreciate any input on a proposed standard going forward for how transfers are listed on club season articles. There is a discussion ongoing here at the moment. Given the implications for this page, I thought it would be best to give a heads up.Domeditrix (talk) 10:40, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
Sourcing
[edit]There are a lot of citations straight from Chelsea FC, that's way too many primary sources, more secondary sources need to be added. Govvy (talk) 15:16, 22 December 2018 (UTC)
Friendly
[edit]That friendly arranged for May 2019 away against New England Revolution should be on next seasons article not this one. Govvy (talk) 17:03, 5 January 2019 (UTC)
season review.
[edit]Why remove it? Take 2013–14 Manchester United F.C. season as an example how to use the prose correctly. Govvy (talk) 08:23, 30 April 2020 (UTC)
