I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Indiana gubernatorial election, 2016's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "in.gov":

  • From Luke Messer: "Luke Messer Sworn in Today as State Representative for House District 57". in.gov. May 28, 2003. Retrieved January 17, 2013.
  • From Indiana elections, 2014: http://www.in.gov/apps/sos/election/general/general2014
  • From Indiana gubernatorial election, 2004: http://www.in.gov/sos/elections/files/May_2004_Primary_Election_Canvass.pdf

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 22:03, 9 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Harm or no harm in waiting for confirmed citation for dropping out formality

[edit]

I don't see any harm in waiting for a confirmed citation that Pence has filed paperwork to drop out of the race. Presumably, but without knowing IN election law, this should force Holcomb to drop out. Presumably, this will happen tomorrow. 166.172.61.200 (talk) 22:15, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for sharing that link. That's a good point about Holcomb, who knows what this means for him? It's all a bit WP:CRYSTAL at this point and we will apparently only have to wait another 17 or so hours for actual, concrete developments. – Muboshgu (talk) 22:21, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
