Split
[edit]This article should be WP:SPLIT, as it exceeds 100k. I'm not sure how to split it though. Natg 19 (talk) 09:42, 17 August 2015 (UTC)
- Suggestions welcome. Its all one giant nearly two week competition. I can't find the stats, so its not in the article, but it must be around 8,000 athletes. That's a lot of ground to cover. As it is, we are only posting the medalists. The only way I can see it being separated is maybe as single event templates, which will make to harder to edit. Once these results are cleaned up, it shouldn't need a lot of editing, but there are always little changes, new articles about athletes, that will be much harder for novice editors to figure out how to link. - Would we be best splitting it into sections by age group and have new articles such as M35 at the 2015 World Masters Athletics Championships? Perhaps having those articles transcluded onto this page, but in a format by age group rather than event, and using tables much like is seen on pages such as 2015 World Championships in Athletics to reduce the number of subsections and make it more easy on the eye.JDWFC (talk) 13:38, 7 April 2016 (UTC)
- It's a good suggestion to make a table per discipline. No splitting please. WeiaR (talk) 08:43, 31 October 2016 (UTC)
