The page needs some protection

[edit]

We need to at least think of a semi protected page as the playoffs will be occuring shortly and the number of edits that are vandalism are increasing.Tulsa2185 (talk) 01:16, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think so, the vandalism number here is fairly low and we can still manage to revert them immediately. On the other hand, the vandalism number on Template:2010 NBA Playoffs is very very high and I already have it semi-protected for a week. — Martin tamb (talk) 10:13, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dates of future matches

[edit]

Have the dates of the semi's, conf finals and finals not been announced? I am not familiar with NBA, but if these are known they should be added to the article. I couldn't find any such info on the official NBA website. Zarcadia (talk) 15:47, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nope, you have to wait until the current series ended before the dates for the next round announced. — Martin tamb (talk) 10:11, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
With the Orlando Magic advancing on, people are already jumping the gun adding boxes about the next series, which to me looks convoluted, especially the Cavs/Bulls or Heat/Celtics matchup.
The boxes can stay in the article, but should be hidden until a matchup is determined OR until dates have been announced for the next series.SigKauffman (talk) 11:53, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Do we have Finals schedules, though? –Howard the Duck 09:06, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, no info written on nba.com, but the ads on ABC says that the Finals start on June 3. — Martin tamb (talk) 18:17, 2 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
And it's Tuesday-Thursday-Sunday so we can make up the schedule... –Howard the Duck 16:18, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, an ip always update the boxes before the games end, leaving the four quarter score and statistics wrong. That should be stopped.—Chris!c/t 17:47, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
