What a crappy year in film.

Don't knock it till you've tried it. DocOck 01:15, 1 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Trimming Down

[edit]

Over the next few days I will be aggresively trimming down the "no release date" section. Many of the films in this section have been announced, and therefore have an IMDB page, but very little has happened since (indeed some of these films have had no news for a number of years). The only films which are guaranteed to remain on this page will be those which are either in production, or wrapped. Films in pre-production may be kept if there has been recent news (in the last six months or so). Wikipedia is not a crystal ball, unless a film will, or is highly likely to, be released in 2006 it will be removed. Rje 15:55, 9 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I have now completed this task. Rje 14:16, 17 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Why is Saw III under top grossing films of 2006? User: Nininchsin

Didn't want to delete this from one section without placing it in the other, but I am not sure of the release date. According to Anime News Service it does have an official site and an initial release date of July 16; this may be all the information needed. Schissel-nonLop! 02:19, 8 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wide Release section

[edit]

There are many films that have not received a wide release that are in this section, these films need to be moved to the limited release section pronto.Casey14 02:19, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Empty2005, please stop putting non wide released films on the wide release list. Please and Thanks. Casey14 20:19, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism

[edit]

Could someone get Empty2005 to stop vandalizing the board. Casey14 22:05, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He is not a vandal, he just does not appear to know which films are opening wide, and which ones are not. I think part of the problem is that the films in the article are not always properly differentiated. Rje 01:58, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've told him multiple times about this issue, and he says he dosn't care. Casey14 21:54, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

number correction

[edit]

Saw III has not $33,610,391 as Total World Box Office Gross. Someone who knows should correct it.

The Top 10 grossing films

[edit]
The Devil Wears Prada has for sure gone beyond $200,000,000.

Film Festival releases

[edit]

Where should movies that have been released in film festivals go? I know not in the wide release table, but do they even belong in the limited release table as opposed to the page of the film festival itself?--Dleav 14:44, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I want to know too. Razor Sharp was released in this year, and it won many film festival awards as well as starring Michael T. Weiss, Cassidy Freeman, Adam Gregor, and Skye McCole Bartusiak, and launched the career of director Marcus Perry. --162.95.216.224 (talk) 19:47, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm stubbing in this film as a part of several related edits, including adding it to the credits of it's best known actress. If someone can follow along after an hour or so and tidy up, I'd appreciate it. It may take that long to save the several articles involved, including a geography stub which is right smack in the middle. Films just aren't my bag. Not knowing the mileau, I didn't add it here either. Being Indian, it may not qualify? Several of the articles do link here since they mention the film. Dec 25 & 29 problem

the dec 25 & 29 part of movie releases is mis-aligned. I don't know how to fix it. Can someone do it? --Crackdahack (talk) 01:29, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
